this is probably going to sound incredibly pathetic, but i really need some guidance.. haha..

okay. harry potter. i consider myself a sorted ravenclaw. as such, i simply MUST have one of those glorious scarves.

but here's the thing:

in the books, ravenclaw's colors are blue and bronze.

in the movies, it's blue and silver.

obviously the books mean much more to me; on the other hand, silver is much more my style.

plus there's a silver one up on ebay and i can't find any way of buying a bronze one. for an authentic bronze, i might have to knit it myself - which, judging by my knitting experience, would probably be ready to wear by the time movie #7 comes out on dvd.

advice?

ps - okay, fellow literary snobs, okay. i'm going to knit myself a blue and bronze. if i don't suck too hard it should be done by the first snowfall. one hopes.
