By the way, I,m weird.

I'm dangerously low on funds, and I do still want to leave here with $1000 in the bank, and so I'm now committed to living on €10 per week. Yes and I don't care. I've got multivitamins and Simone de Beauvoir and the sky at least; what else could I need?

Also I have a sort of good/sort of crazy entry in my backpack but I feel too conspicuous to type it just now.

Also all of a sudden the thought of next year's obligations -- and, dear god, those of the year after that -- make me want to vomit.

So I leave you with part of an email from my daddy that made me smile.

OK there

Sounds like you're all set. AND getting more set as the time approached. July 7 is still a ways off, but not that far.

Glad you had a good time on your day trip. You taking a bunch of pictures? Looking like a real tourist? Sorry no one speaks the language.

Also, glad to hear you've got plans for spring break... when is it by the way. AND you seem to be set for fall too.

I wish there was news to tell you about from here. Pam's back is still paining her. We took down the bathroom globes over the light fixtures this weekend... Who Hoo what fun AND we cleaned them. Got outside a little bit. It wa 70 degrees on Friday. Beyond that, just working, resting and hoping you're having a good/great time.

By the way, how many people does it take to cavort?

Love ya lots. Email again soon.

Dad
