I don't know if my heightened conversation professor is on a serious plagiarism crackdown or what, but she returns my speech outline with - among numerous other egregious green marks - the word 'litany' in the phrase '...causes a litany of environmental consequences' underlined and asks, 'your wording?' LITANY IS A REGULAR WORD! At the top of the outline: 'Make sure that all wording is your own. Please check.' Geez, forgive me for having an above-average vocabulary. It is an honors class after all!

Uh oh, I used 'egregious' up there, must be plagiarizing....
