Obsessive-compulsive lunacy

i'm nuts. it's nearly 2 in the morning, i have an 8 o'clock class, and i'm sitting here making out a new 4-year schedule.

my friends laugh at me because i've done and redone my schedule at least a dozen times since i got to school. i'm constantly adding and dropping majors, minors and certificates - i like scheduling so much that i have even done rough schedules for erin and lauren. it's a bit sad, actually.

so here's my current thing: i'm doing away with the economics minor. i'm also seriously considering dropping the leadership program, even though i only need three more classes in it for the certificate, because i'm not really enjoying it now and next year is supposed to be more business-oriented (read less interesting).

i want to have less majors/minors because the way i have had it leaves no room for electives. (the most recent combination was poli sci major, econ minor, environmental studies minor, spanish minor, leadership certificate) after just a few weeks of english, i am really craving a lot more in the humanities subjects. so i think i'm leaning more toward a more normal looking degree combination, with a lot of really interesting electives.

something like poli sci major, environmental studies minor, and bring back the writing certificate just for fun - much more reasonable.

i'm devising it as i go, and the first few courses each semester are definite while the last few are the electives which are completely interchangeable; they just sound like fun tonight, at 2 in the morning, with my beloved catalog in my lap.
